This series was probably the greatest series about all the birds that have travelled most of our planet from 5 continents. I always mostly preview every episode that is very exciting. One thing had previewing from the beginning was the a very great song called "Keep Your Head Up" which is also another one of my favorite songs. Charles Wooley has done a fantasic job narrating this series and to the Nine Network. Queensland did very great bringing to me. Great series by an 18 year old. Thanks, Charles
I want this series to be broadcasted in Sweden too! People from AU harass me for not being able to watch it. Is it possible watch the show on the web? Appreciate any tip of how to solve this dilemma. Thank You.
I caught this terrific show on catchup. was hugely disappointed when the same episode aired the next week. Channel 9 needs to learn that trains & tv schedules need to run on time to keep customers happy.
Having just tuned into Great Barrier Reef I am amazed to find that having ruined Earthflight, Ch 9 have once again bought a show from BBC Earth and then overdubbed it with an ocker accent and added pop music. If you don't think a show will appeal to your audience then don't buy it and let the ABC show it in its original state.
Fantastic photography but would have to be the worst commentry I have ever heard on a BBC production.
Is it just me or was episode 4 (South America) not shown in Perth? I had pre-recorded it as per the tv guide, but when I replayed it, channel 9 was showing cricket? I am so disappointed to have missed this episode! Can someone please clarify whether it will be replayed or why the cricket was being shown at that time?
How is it that only one episode has been aired.? According to the TV guide it was meant to be on Thursday evenings at 1930..and what did we get...CRICKET..no apology or information as to when this wonderful series ( -Charles Woolley hopefully )would be aired. At least the first episode had an encore airing on Gem on the Monday after. Very disappointing especially when Channel 9 finally got it right!!! I shall also await the BBC version on DVD Thanking you for your attention A very disappointed ex viewer
Wow... one of the best documentaries I have ever seen. The photography is fantastic. Hope Ch.9 has a replay soon.
After reading the above comments I cannot believe Ch.9 dubbed David Tennant's voice. Thank goodness I have purchased 'Earthflight' from the UK. I have listened to many Audio Books narrated by David Tennant and he is extremely talented as a narrator and has the most wonderful expression in his voice. I would have been so very disappointed had I watched it on Ch.9. It is so much better to watch these shows on DVD without the many, many annoying ads. on TV.
When is the next episode on, or any repeats please?
